Client Portal

The Client Portal allow us to collect necessary information from you prior to you initial visit. This allow you to spend more time discussing your needs with your therapist and less time (actually, NO time!) completing tedious paperwork. After sending an appointment request or initial inquiry, we will send you a link to your personal Client Portal. The Client Portal will allow you to review and sign our consent forms, as well as provide us with brief information about yourself. We also collect billing and insurance information via the Client Portal.

Initial Intake Visit

Your very first appointment will be your Initial Intake Appointment. If you are the parent or guardian of a minor who will be attending sessions at our practice, the first appointment will be your Parent Intake Session.

The Initial Intake Appointment allows you and your therapist to discuss your needs and develop a plan for treatment at suits your specific needs and goals. This appointment is often felt as motivating and hopeful.

Your Initial Appointment or Initial Parent Intake Appointment can be scheduled virtually as a tele-health/virtual appointment or you are welcome to come in-person to our office.

Therapy Sessions

After your Initial Intake Appointment your therapist will work with you to schedule regular therapy sessions based on your level of need. Research shows that consistent attendance in therapy yields the best results. For this reason, we typically see clients weekly until improvement is made. At that point, we may recommend reducing sessions to every other week or a couple times a month. Assessing for improvement is a large part of our success with clients.
